Just a note to remind all of you to come visit us in KidzLife each Sunday morning beginning at 10:00. We have a new sign-in system for safety and I know it can be a headache for some but we appreciate you helping us out on this. You can begin signing in at 9:45. All children need to be picked up by a parent when services are over. So far things are working out great. Thank you
We have lots of fun things planned for the coming months. We are in the process of planning a skating party for our boys and girls. Our boys won the last contest which gave them the privilege of picking our event. Way to go boys! We will also be talking soon about a surprise “family outing” that we hope each of you will make plans to attend. Of course, don’t forget out annual Easter egg hunt coming up real soon.
In addition to all the fun events we are very excited to say we will soon have a live praise and worship time each Sunday. This will allow us to be more flexible with our music and our time of praise. We are trying to teach the children the importance of praising our God through our worship time. Some of the children are beginning to let go and let God move them during our services. This is exciting !! We have also started our Servant Teams. Be sure to ask your child when he/she is scheduled so they can be here on time. This again is a great way to teach them to be servants to God and to others as well. Encourage them in their decision to join one or more of our teams.
I pray each of you are enjoying God’s blessings to the fullest and as always don’t stop giving HIM all the glory

It’s a Salvage tradition! This Sunday is our annual Super Bowl Party! Show up at 5:00, bring junk food, and get ready to probably only pay attention to commercials. This Sunday, it’s gonna be at Ashley Lambet’s house, so see her for directions.
Also on tap this month, we’ve got a girls’ night and a boys’ night February 9th. The girls will be participating in a “Princess” themed evening, while the boys will truly be boys. See Jason or Amy for more info on these nights.

Happy December! Salvage has a lot going on this month. First of all, we will be attending Alan Vincent’s Sunday night service on December 2. Next, Jason and I will be hosting a leadership retreat on December 14-15 involving the group’s core leaders. This will be a memorable time of learning, fellowship, and team-building. Finally, as always, we will have our annual Christmas party December 16. It is always a favorite event, full of surprises. Also, we will be studying a new book in our small groups on Wednesday night. The focus is on service. We look forward to seeing you all at the events this month! Mille tendresse - Amy

Hey Men, don’t forget about our fellowship Thursday Oct. 25th! Even if you can’t bring a pot a chili, just bring your appetite, there will be plenty to go around. We are looking forward to a great evening of fellowship. If you are new to Christian Life we want to encourage you to come on out and meet some new friends. In fact, bring someone along. The fun starts at 7pm!

Kidz and kidz parents—
Don’t forget to sign up for our Fall Party on October 13th at Ray and Jan Frost’s home. We will meet at the church at 5:15 to gather and carpool over and return to the church at 9:00. There will be hamburgers and hotdogs with all the fixins, s’mores, games, music, a campfire and a hayride! I’m told this hayride will take almost an hour to complete AND I hear that there may even be siting of BobCat Bob’s campsite. Encourage your kidz to come join us and to bring a friend with them. Every child attending must have a permission slip turned in to attend. If you have any questions, contact Sha O’Neal or Joe Hill.
Always give God the glory

Okay, now that I have your attention, I just wanted to make a few announcements. First, today is our first, of what we hope to be monthly, third Saturday worship night. We gathering tonight at 7 p.m. for an evening of worship and prayer. Part of tonight’s worship will be led by CLC’s own Josh Pauley, which is such a blessing. Our desire is to be led of the Spirit, so we do not have a scheduled end time. Attendance is not required of all Salvage members, as we want students to only come with a true heart of worship. That said, we will have an Open-Mic Night tomorrow night, and we encourage students to come and bring as many guests as will fit in the seats of your car (trunks included). Be prepared to see a ton of great talent and some random acts of ridiculousness. Finally, next Sunday is neighborhood outreach night, but we are changing the time to 4-6 p.m. to save daylight. See Jason or me to sign up to bring supplies and get a release form. I guess that’s all. Mille tendresse - Amy

We are so excited to host a celebration luncheon for all those that have dedicated their time, energy and hearts to the children’s ministry in the past year. Children are such a blessing and to be able to feed them from God’s table is a great privilege. We would like to share with you things that are happening, things that are coming up and our hopes and dreams for the future of these little ones as well as our needs. We appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to serving you for a while
Don’t forget our boys won this quarter so the girls will be serving them on Sundae Sunday!! This will take place on September 16th during the service after a time of praising and worshiping our wonderful God!
Always give God the glory

Hello all! I hope you are having a terrific September. We are looking forward to the launch of small groups in the youth group. God is to be praised that our youth ministry has grown so much that we feel that one large group meeting a week is not enough to meet our needs. We will begin meeting in small groups on Wednesday nights starting Spet. 13. These groups will become our main teaching and discussion times, with our Sunday night meetings switching to a more inviting format with evangelism and service as their focuses. Students, please make plans to come on Wednesday nights if you do not already. Also, you will need to bring $8.00 for a copy of the book we will be using. Also, if you are on Facebook, or have considered joining, please check out the Salvage group page. If you sign up (it’s free), you can join our group and keep up with all the latest news, pictures, and discussion boards. Hope to find you there. Mille tendresse - Amy

Hello all! It is that time of the year again. Freshmen are heading to orientation, incoming seniors are holding their heads high, and everyone is stocking up on paper and pencils. That’s right, we are going back to school. In celebration of this event, Salvage will have a party at the Murfreesboro Strike & Spare this Sunday from 6-8 pm. Games will be $1.50 each, and don’t forget money for refreshments (mmm…cheese sticks!). See you there. Mille tendresse - Amy
